SC Sometra SA supports and sponsors the local initiatives! So on June 21st, 2019, Sometra together with the people of Copsa Mica, Copsa Mica City Hall, Volunteer Firefighters and Nicolae Teclu High School enjoyed the Festival of Light 2019!

International Day of Older Persons

“Sometra and its employees celebrated the International Day of Older Persons, along with the senior guests of the Copsa Mica Senior Club, in a special event organized by the Copsa Mica City Hall. On the occasion, Mayor Daniel Tudor Mihalache and Sometra’s General Manager Christos Efstathiadis announced a financial aid by Sometra to contribute to the coverage of the Senior Club’s basic needs, including heating, utilities and maintenance. It was a particularly touching and meaningful moment for us, since many of the Club’s guests are retired Sometra employees, as well as a great opportunity to once more stand by the local society, hands-on and substantially.”

 International Day of Older Persons celebrated in Copsa Mica with Sometra was covered in the Sibiu County media including Tribuna Sibiu 100% and Ora de Medias.

Sometra S.A. is investing for a clean future in Copsa Mica

Sometra S.A. will invest in Romania 40 million euro in the development of a new, environment-friendly production facility in Copsa Mica, to be built on the site of the nonferrous metals plant near the locality in central Transylvania.
